Only a 30 minute bus ride away from Bristol lies the beautiful woodland of Goblin Combe in North Somerset. Walking along its limestone gorge is a real feast for the eyes and a delight for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Thanks to Borrow My Doggy, we regularly take a four legged friend or two along to share in on our adventures at Goblin Combe.
Managed by Avon Wildlife Trust, Goblin Combe offers such a brilliant variety of landscapes that we never tire of it.
When reaching the top of the combe, you’ll enjoy scenic views across the Mendips, but the cherry on the cake for me is when we’re lucky enough to cross path with the tribe (yes, I had to check the correct collective noun) of wild goats that reign over the area.
Whatever the season, Goblin Combe is always worth a visit and The Maple, a nearby pub next to Tout’s supermarket is dog friendly so we often head over there for a well-deserved post walk pint!
